Hello, and welcome to my corner of the web! After dedicating fifty years to the workforce, I am now enjoying a fulfilling retirement. Alongside my role as a husband and father of two wonderful children, I have cultivated a deep love for the great outdoors. My days are happily spent pursuing my passions, whether it’s hiking through scenic trails, perfecting my golf swing, or gliding across tranquil waters in a kayak.

Photography has been more than just a hobby for me; it’s a passion deeply intertwined with my love for nature and exploration. From a young age, I found myself captivated by the scenic landscapes and natural beauty that surrounded me during hiking trips. These experiences sparked my initial interest in photography, beginning modestly with a Polaroid camera that allowed me to capture fleeting moments of breathtaking scenery.

As my enthusiasm grew, so did my equipment. I progressed through various cameras, each one enhancing my ability to capture the essence of the landscapes I encountered. Advancing through film cameras and later, digital point-and-shoots, I eventually transitioned to the versatility and quality of a mirrorless camera, which has become my tool of choice in recent years.

Hiking has been instrumental in my photographic journey, leading me to remote vistas and hidden gems where I could immerse myself in the grandeur of untouched landscapes. Whether trekking through lush forests, or wandering along tranquil shorelines, each excursion presents new opportunities to frame the beauty of nature through my lens.

What continues to drive me is the desire to capture not just the visual spectacle of nature, but also the emotions it evokes. Each photograph is a testament to my connection with the environment, conveying the awe-inspiring power and tranquility found in the natural world.

Join me on this visual journey as I continue to explore and share the wonders of our natural world.
